It's a green Christmas!

It's not Christmas yet, is it? It seems to be starting here! Our first poinsettias arrived mid July. We plant approximately twelve thousand in various sizes and colors. Traditional red, classic white, jolly Jingle Bells, Christmas Rose and beautiful burgandy are just a few. Usually beginning in October we begin to see some colour on the poinsettia leaves due to the shorter days and "longer" nights.(We can't leave any lights on or it can affect the bloom time.) By late November, most are in full colour. We do a fundraising program that has been very successful for schools, Kinette groups, sports clubs, etc. If you would like more info on this, you can check out our website www.huronridge.ca and click on fundraising. I will keep you updated on these gorgeous plants.
