Planting time!

Everyday our greenhouses are filling up with plants from Alyssum to petunias and violas! This year, which is our 40th in business, we are switching things up in the potting department. Instead of our usual 4 pak, you will now see a bigger 6 pak which will grow a far superior pak plant. We are also changing all our usual 4" pot to a slightly bigger 4.5" pot with our own logo on it! Very exciting for us! It will hold more soil and in turn grow a healthy, sturdier plant. Check us out this Spring!!

Did you know?

Plants are much more than something you love to look at....
Did you know …
plants might just be the hardest working living things on our planet?

Plants are giving back...to you...your family…your work...and your community, offering environmental, economic, mental, and physical benefits.

Plants provide us with food, medicine, shelter, and much more, while also offering habitat for all kinds of creatures.

Every day, healthy landscapes produce oxygen that we breathe, use CO2, and sequester carbon. They even make cities cooler while removing pollutants from the air.

Violas are a lovely spring flower! Hardy enough to stand an ice storm! In his sonnets, Shakespeare used the violet as a symbol of humility and constancy in love.
Also known as Johnny-Jump-Ups- these plants may self-seed year to year showing nickle-sized flowers marked with purple, yellow and white. Violas are not a true perennial plant that comes back from the roots. Meant to be enjoyed in the spring when weather is cooler and we are all hungry for colour!

Primula oh my!

Our first spring crop is in full bloom! These are a hearty little plant called primula. Once the earth is warm enough to plant in, primula can be planted and will come back every year. They range from white to dark blue with yellow, purple and red in between. Makes a wonderful pick me up!
