June already?

It's hard to believe that May is over and it's June 5th! This warm weather and rain will make everything just burst forth with new growth and color. It sounds like a great weekend coming up and I hope everyone is able to get out and work in their gardens and just enjoy the outdoors. :) We are thankful this year again that we've found homes for all our kittens. One family gets to enjoy two playful kittens and a little girl is taking home the other. It's always with mixed feelings that we see them go. I love watching the way they tumble and play with each other and "mom". It's interesting to hear her call to them and watch them come running but kind of yucky when she brings a bird or a mouse to them to eat. Our princess is a great hunter which is great when it comes to mice but not so great when it comes to birds. Dave (owner and general manager) is a bird enthusiast and routinely feeds "his birds". He doesn't appreciate when Princess is prowling around beneath the bird feeders. But that is the circle of life.
